About Me

Hi my name is Ellie, I am 21, and from the U.K. I have spent most of my life living in Dorset, but orginally from Essex.

 

Covid-19 Like many took our ability to travel freely from our fingertips. I had just qualified in Evets Management by the time the first lockdown in the U.K. was beginning to ease. I felt like my career was wasted and I couldn't see a light at the end of the tunnel, I thought about maybe travelling as that is the normal go to for the young adult, but I couldn't afford the risks. I carried on in my rather mundane hospitality job, not exactly progressing anywhere. About a year after that first lockdown ease I decided I was going to fly to the other side of the World, and start my adventure. Another career change into the Emergency Services and a year and a quater later I now find myself flying out to Aotearoa.

As well as having my own personal book to write in my own experiences, I know my friends and family back home would want to also see and hear stories of my adventures. Rather than spending those late nights or early mornings calling and having hour long conversations over and over again, I decided to start a little travel blog whilst I am out here in NZ.
